Education

Programmes people can actually join.

Football Abroad offers defined programmes for municipalities, clubs and organisations — with clear target groups, formats and learning outcomes. We also adapt delivery when the local context requires it.

Available for commissioning

Start with a programme, then adapt the details.

A commissioner should be able to see what they are buying before a long design process begins.

The core curriculum, learning logic and delivery model are defined. Examples, language level, practical tasks and assessment are adapted after commissioning to fit the cohort and the organisation.

Specialist expertise

Employability modules should be taught with real employer-side expertise.

Football Abroad builds delivery around the right expertise instead of asking one football educator to teach every subject.

  • Football pedagogy, decision-making, leadership and practical learning through Football Abroad
  • CV, applications and interview preparation can be delivered with experienced HR and recruitment professionals with several years of talent-acquisition experience
  • Language support, case management and work placement can integrate with municipal services or other partners

Independent evidence

Coach education in Sweden is not a new direction for us.

Back in 2016, Swedish local newspaper Lokaltidningen covered a coach-development initiative in which Antonio Guiu worked with Kulladals FF around ideas from Catalan football.

“Kulladals FF ska spela katalanskt”

Lokaltidningen · 3 February 2016

The article is one example of the work behind today’s education offer: coach support, methodology development and knowledge transfer between Swedish and Spanish football.

For municipalities and public-sector organisations

Structured delivery, not only course content.

Our work-readiness programmes can be designed to function as one component within a broader municipal activity or labour-market plan.

Defined target group

Clear purpose, participant profile and learning outcomes before delivery begins.

Attendance & progression

Attendance tracking, individual goals and structured feedback can be included in the delivery model.

Integrated delivery

The programme can combine with language support, employment coaching, placements and other municipal interventions.

Final reporting

Participant progress, next steps and programme delivery can be summarised for the commissioning organisation using an agreed format.

Need something different?

Defined programmes do not mean rigid delivery.

Municipalities, schools and clubs often have different participant needs, schedules and support structures. We can adjust the format, combine modules or build a bespoke programme when there is a clear reason to do so.
